In my life, sleep is a commodity that is in short supply. So much so, I recently dreamed about sleeping. When I woke up, I even thought, how crazy it was that I dreamed of sleeping. But that still didn’t give me the restful night I desperately needed.
Thankfully, God’s Word, the Holy Bible is full of inspirational Bible Verses about sleep and rest. Each one of these scripture references is sure to give us a good night’s sleep.

When I need peace and comfort, the Psalms are the first place I turn to.
They are full of great Bible Verses to help us have peaceful sleep in God’s comfort.
So, the next time you find yourself tossing and turning, open your Bible and turn to the Psalms.

What does the Bible say about insomnia?
There are many Bible Stories to help us with insomnia.
Because the Bible characters we love so much were a lot like us. They had times of hardship and victory. And sometimes experienced insomnia and nights of restless sleep too.
Through their stories, we can find help for the sleeplessness we all have from time to time.
And if you suffer from chronic insomnia, spending time in God’s Word is always a great way to spend the night.

God Does Not Sleep Bible Verses
Our bodies need sleep to function properly. But God does not need to sleep like we do.
Because of this truth, we can have confidence that God is always watching over us, protecting us, and causing all things to work for our benefit. Don’t Confuse Sleep and Laziness
Peaceful sleep is a gift from God for those who labor. He will give you rest and restore your energy for the work ahead.
But the Bible also says that laziness is a sin. And God will not reward us for it.
