In my life, sleep is a commodity that is in short supply. So much so, I recently dreamed about sleeping. When I woke up, I even thought, how crazy it was that I dreamed of sleeping. But that still didn’t give me the restful night I desperately needed.

Thankfully, God’s Word, the Holy Bible is full of inspirational Bible Verses about sleep and rest. Each one of these scripture references is sure to give us a good night’s sleep.

Psalms to Help You Sleep Tonight

When I need peace and comfort, the Psalms are the first place I turn to.

They are full of great Bible Verses to help us have peaceful sleep in God’s comfort.

So, the next time you find yourself tossing and turning, open your Bible and turn to the Psalms.

God Does Not Sleep Bible Verses

Our bodies need sleep to function properly. But God does not need to sleep like we do.

Because of this truth, we can have confidence that God is always watching over us, protecting us, and causing all things to work for our benefit. Don’t Confuse Sleep and Laziness

Peaceful sleep is a gift from God for those who labor. He will give you rest and restore your energy for the work ahead.

But the Bible also says that laziness is a sin. And God will not reward us for it.
