What does the Bible say about God’s hands?
There’s a popular anonymous quote that says… “Those who leave everything in God’s hand will eventually see God’s hand in everything.” But what does God’s hand represent? And what does the Bible say about the hand of God?
Well, the Word of God actually has a lot to say to us about the significance of God and His sovereign hand.
In fact, there are so many Bible verses about God’s hands in the Holy Bible that I couldn’t stop adding them to this devotion!
Each one reminds me that God is present in our lives, even when we can’t feel His loving touch.
That truth has inspired me to create Master’s Hand Collection, a series of Christian Art that uses sign language to depict God’s mighty hand guiding us through life.
As you might already suspect, I spend a great deal of time thinking about hands. How to pose, photograph, and place them in my artwork. Hands are a constant in my life.
But it’s more than just hands, they are God’s hands that fill my mind.
Every scripture I read about God’s hands inspires me to create and to be creative. Each one encourages me to delve deeper and deeper still into my relationship with the One True God.
As I look back over my life, I can see God’s hands guiding me to this moment in time, a time such as this. Knowing without a doubt that His hand is present in my life humbles me, brings me to my knees in grateful praise, and makes me want to share His loving touch with everyone else.
When I created Master’s Hand Collection a few years ago, the message God wanted me to convey was crystal clear. His hands are always at work in our lives. And I pray that through sharing these inspiring Bible verses about God’s hands you’ll see Him at work in your life and be able to say… Lord, it’s in your hands.

God’s Healing Hands Bible Verses
As I mentioned before, hands are a constant in my life. They play an important part in my Bible Verse Art. Each piece begins with a word that reminds me of who God is. Then I place pictures of hands into the art to spell out that unique word in American Sign Language. Without these pictures, my art wouldn’t exist.
And these pictures wouldn’t exist without the person posing for them. They’re my father’s hands and that makes them extra special to me. Plus, he thinks it’s kinda funny being a hand model. 😊 He didn’t see that one coming.
My father’s hands have done so many things for me over the years. When I was young, his hand took mine as we walked down the sidewalk together, keeping me close and protected. Later, his hands held me up and kept my head above water while I learned to swim in my grandparent’s backyard pool. During the terrible teen years, his hand grabbed the steering wheel and kept me from veering into oncoming traffic as he taught me how to drive. (Whew, thanks for that one, Dad!) And now as an adult, his hands are still there guiding me. Hey, they’re even in my artwork!
If you asked him about these things, he’d say he was just doing what dads do, loving and supporting their kids as they make their way through life.
Yes, A father’s hands do so many things. And our Heavenly Father’s hands are no different. In times of trouble, the hands of God take care of us and give us shelter. When we feel down, defeated, or all alone, they comfort us. When we don’t know what comes next, they mold and shape us into our future selves. And when we feel weak, they offer us the strength to keep going.
Why? Because that’s what our loving Heavenly Father does. His hands are there for us through all of life’s ups and downs. Nothing is too big for Him to handle. And nothing is too small for Him to notice.
As you read these Healing Hand of God scriptures, look closing at what God has to say to you. Can you see His hands in your life? I hope so. And I pray that you will find comfort and encouragement in God’s hands today.
So, let’s read some top Bible verses about God’s Healing Hands.
And He has made My mouth like a sharp sword;
In the shadow of His hand He has hidden Me,
And made Me a polished shaft;
