Monday Motivation – Hebrews 12:1

Have you ever gone on a walk with ankle weights on? Do you remember the relief of taking them off when the walk was over? The burden of sin weights us down just like those ankle weights. And sin separates us from God keeps us from doing all that He has for us. In this Bible verse from Hebrews 12:1, the Apostle Paul tells us that we can set down the weight of our sin. Then and only then will we be able to run the race of the Christian life. So, drop the weight of your sin at the Savior’s feet and run fast friends. Keep your eyes on Jesus!

Monday Motivation – Matthew 6:20-21

The phrase “lay up” means “give priority to”, so this Bible Verse for St. Patrick’s Day is about our priorities. Is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow what you long for? Is finding a lucky four leaf clover the desire of your heart?

God’s priorty is always our heart and what we store in it. And these words of Jesus teach us to store God’s priorities in it. As Christians, our heart should reflect the light of Jesus to the world. And our priortiy should be to build a relationship with Him.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Be blessed and have a fun holiday!

Monday Motivation – Lamentations 3:22-23

Every day is an opportunity to experience more of God’s goodness. This Bible Verse about God’s faithfulness describes His goodness perfectly. When our lives are filled with sadness and struggle, He is full of grace and truth. Each morning He loves us anew. And every new day gives us the chance to start again. Whatever happened yesterday is forgotten and we can move forward with confidence, God is faithful. He is good. And He will get us through today!

Monday Motivation – Habakkuk 2:3

Waiting on God and His plan can seem like an impossible task. But this verse about waiting on God gives us the promise we need to keep moving forward.

First, God has a plan for your life. Second, His plan is good. And last, whatever God has for you, it will come. Wait for it, even when it feels like it will never happen, wait. God hasn’t forgotten you or His promise to you. He has you exactly where you should be. No matter what… nothing can stop God’s plan. It will not delay!

Monday Motivation – Acts 1:8

It’s hard to comprehend the power of the Holy Spirit. So, we draw a line in the sand around what we think He is capable of. But as this Bible Verse about the power of the Holy Spirit attests to, our limited imagination doesn’t confine His power.

Jesus said in this verse from Acts 1:8 that we will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon us. This is our promise from the Savior, that we would receive the gift of the Holy Spirit and all that He brings. Wise counsel for the days ahead. Comfort in times of need. And power to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to the rest of the world.

May you be blessed with the gift of the Holy Spirit!

Count It All Joy James 1:2 Free Printable Bible Verse Art

What does James 1:2 mean?

James 1:2 tells us… count it all joy when you face trials.

But that’s much easier said than done in a fiery furnace.

None of us is immune from hardship. And we will all face trials in our lives.

But instead of seeing these hardships as something to be avoided, we can use them as an opportunity to draw closer to God.

Through the various trials this scripture mentions, we learn important lessons on perseverance and patience.  And that the testing of our faith is not to hurt us, but rather to refine us.

At the end of the trial, we will be “perfect” and “complete”, lacking nothing in the Lord.  And that is our reason to count it all joy when you fall into various trials.

Rejoice knowing every trial gives you more endurance for the long race ahead. So, if you feel like your faith is being tested, rejoice and draw near to God. He will get you through it.

Monday Motivation – James 1:22

Of all the Bible Verses about God’s Word, this one always cuts me deep. James was a straight shooter, and never afraid to tell it like it is. So, today I’m going to do the same. It isn’t enough for us to sit in a pew on Sunday morning and listen to a sermon. We must allow God’s Word to penetrate our hearts and transform our minds. Then the hard work of being a doer begins. Whatever it is that God has asked of you, I pray that you will follow Him. And I pray I will do the same.

Blessings, dear friends, as you put your faith and trust in God’s Word!

Monday Motivation – Philippians 3:13-14

Now is the time to leave the past behind and move forward. And this Bible verse about pressing on gives us the goal to do just that. No matter what your reason for wanting to move on is, God is always for you and never against you. He will give you the strength to set aside any failure, hardship, or pain you have. Look to Him and press on!

Monday Motivation – Isaiah 26:3

Do you feel stressed out? Is peace the farthest thing from you? Yeah, I’ve been there. But no worries… this Bible verse about peace tells us exactly how to find peace when life is anything but peaceful. Perfect peace, the kind we’re looking for, only comes from Jesus. It’s as simple as that. If we know Jesus, then we know peace. Because He is peace itself. And when we put our trust in the Prince of Peace and focus on Him continually, we will find a perfect peace that only comes from knowing Him.

Monday Motivation – Psalm 150:6

As I read this Bible Verses about praising God, I’m reminded that it is by His own breath we were created in His image! Now it’s our turn to give breath back to God and offer Him praise. Together let’s lift our voices and praise the Lord for all He has done!

Monday Motivation – John 15:13

Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice for us when He lived out these words, no greater love, and willingly faced the cross. He finished the work, secured our freedom, and our debt paid. Greater love has never been shown than that of our Savior giving Himself for us!

Today, we honor the men and women of our brave armed forces. Their sacrifice gives us a different kind of freedom, one that means a free society to live and flourish in. Thank you for your willingness to give to our great country. You are not forgotten! And Thank you, Lord Jesus, for the spiritual freedom we only find in you!

Monday Motivation – Proverbs 1:7

The fear of the Lord doesn’t mean you’re afraid of God or want to run and hide from Him. It’s an understanding of who God is… divine, omnipotent, righteous, and faithful. Knowledge and wisdom are a natural extension of recognizing these characteristics of God. And once we see God and His glory, it’s hard not to have awe and reverence for Him. May you be blessed with the understanding of Almighty God!
