Seeing God’s Hand

Seeing God's Hand

Imagine seeing God’s hand in your life.

What would it look like? How would it feel?

If you move in Christian circles, you’ve probably heard someone say, ”I saw God’s hand in my life!”. It’s a phrase that comes up often in conversations with other Christians or in testimonies given at church.

But what exactly does seeing God’s hand in your life mean? Is this something you’re supposed to look for? Or is it already there?

These questions have been on my mind a lot lately. Because it seems we’re all searching for God’s hand.

So, in our quest, I decided to write two devotionals to help us see God’s hand.

The first is… 7 Simple Ways to See God’s Hand in Your Life. In it we’ll answer the burning question, how can I see God’s hand in my life right now?

It’s completely free to download and written to encourage and uplift you on the journey to seeing God’s hand.

As you work your way through this short (and free 😊) Bible Study, you’ll uncover some simple ways to see God’s hand in your life…

A new beginning starts on Day 1, as you learn to Walk Hand in Hand with God.

On Day 2 you’ll discover the true nature of your relationship with God and the simple fact that you are Inscribed on His Hand.

Day 3 brings you face to face with the answer to the very real struggles you experience every day and how to be Protected Under a Mighty Hand.

The truth you’ll explore on Day 4 shows A Generous Hand who goes above and beyond to provide all you need.

Day 5 offers hope for your weakest moments. When you are at your lowest you can count on The Strength of God’s Hand.

On Day 6 you’ll learn where real security comes as you realize you’re Secure in His Hand.

Day 7 isn’t just a game changer, it’s a Life Changer!  I don’t want to spoil the surprise and reveal too much, but I promise it will turn everything you thought you knew about your relationship with Jesus upside down!

So, I hope you’ll resist the temptation to skip ahead, because each of the six lessons leads up to this life-changing truth!

The second is… Seeing God’s Hand Through the Art of Sign Language. In this art and devotional book, you’ll dive deeper into what Seeing God’s Hand means.

As the title suggests, the artwork I’ve created, Master’s Hand Collection, will give you a visual representation of God’s hand. Because I believe if you can see His hand in your life clearly, it will encourage you in your daily walk with Jesus.

Each of the pictures in the collection spell out an inspirational word in American Sign Language or ASL. Those words and the scriptures they represent are the jumping off point for your deep dive into God’s Word and my way of showing you God’s hand in the everyday struggles we face.

Because the truth is… We’re all struggling with something. And we know if we could just see His hand and grab ahold of it, our lives would be changed forever. I know that sounds so difficult…

But what if I told you seeing God’s hand is easy if you know where to look? Would you give it a try?

Through each of the fourteen devotionals and accompanying artwork in Seeing God’s Hand, a new aspect of God’s character and how His hand is working behind the scenes of your life every day will be revealed.

You’ll…

Recognize God’s hand reaching down with Grace.

Find Joy in the healing touch of Jesus.

Discover a foundation of Love God is building just for you.

Receive an offer of Hope to get through any circumstance.

Experience lasting Peace from knowing whose hand you’re in.

Plus, nine more devotions, all aimed at helping you see God’s hand.

By the end of our time together, Hiss hand will become “visible” as you dive deep with me into the truth of scripture and start Seeing God’s Hand Through the Art of Sign Language…

Seeing God’s hand is an image of the divine interaction between God and His people. And it’s God’s characteristics, His very nature, that are on display when we feel His healing touch. And just like the anonymous quote above tells us… The more you leave your problems in God’s hand, the more you’ll see Him working in your life!

Both of these devotionals were designed to help you along the path to Seeing God’s Hand. I hope you’ll get one or both of them and experience the blessing of God’s hand in your life today!

More Heartfelt Bible Verses about Love

LOVE. Most of us are searching for it in some aspect of our lives. And it seems to hold so much power over us. Without love, we feel empty, like there’s a gaping hole in our chest. With it, we feel the exact opposite, happy, fulfilled, even giddy like we’re dancing on air.

In our quest for love what we’re really after is unconditional love. A love that doesn’t care if we’re having an off day. You know the one I’m talking about, flat hair, jeans that won’t fit, nothing goes right. We all have bad days, but when we know we’re loved it’s easy to laugh them off. This is the love God meant for us to have all along, not just with other people but with Him.

Last week we looked at several Heartfelt Bible Verses about Love, if you missed it you can read them here. As we discussed then, love is the foundation of our Christian faith. It defines who we are in Jesus and brings us together as the body of Christ.

Love is the reason God the Father sent Jesus the Son to die on the cross in our place and the reason He did so willingly. Without their love, we wouldn’t have the hope of salvation. But because of their love, we can have confidence in our faith and know our future in heaven is secure.

Today, I’d like to share with you More Heartfelt Bible Verses about Love. This time we’ll closely examine how God’s love extends outwardly toward us. His love is faithful, steadfast, loyal and unconditional. And because God loved us first, we can experience love for ourselves and love Him in return.

These truths about God’s love will become clear as you read the scriptures. So, let’s jump in and allow them to reveal God’s unconditional love.

God’s Love for us

The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying:
Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love;
Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.

                                                Jeremiah 31:3

I will betroth you to Me forever;
Yes, I will betroth you to Me
In righteousness and justice,
In lovingkindness and mercy;
I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness,
And you shall know the Lord.

                                              Hosea 2:19-20

God, your God, is God indeed, a God you can depend upon. He keeps his covenant of loyal love with those who love him and observe his commandments for a thousand generations.

                                           Deuteronomy 7:9 (MSG)

Christ’s Love for Us

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

                                          Galatians 2:20

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,

                                         Ephesians 5:25

Our Love for God

Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.

                                             Psalm 91:14

We love Him because He first loved us.

                                            1 John 4:19

I will love You, O Lord, my strength. Psalm 18:1 #Love #BibleVerses Click To Tweet

I will love You, O Lord, my strength.

Psalm 18:1

 A Heartfelt Cry to See God’s Love

Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning,
For in You do I trust;
Cause me to know the way in which I should walk,
For I lift up my soul to You.

                                           Psalm 143:8

We’ve covered many of the Heartfelt Bible Verses about Love in these two posts, but there are still many more. I encourage you to look them up and be blessed by the truth they contain.

This last verse from Psalm 143 is a cry to God to see His unconditional love in action. And it’s a call to trust Him when we need guidance. This is the verse that really spoke to my heart today. Please leave a comment and let me know which one God used to speak to you.

One final thought I’d like to share, if you’re searching for love in your life, God loves you with unconditional and unwavering love! No matter who you are or what you do, nothing will ever separate you from His love! This is my sincere prayer for you… Mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you. (Jude 2)

God’s Unconditional Love

God's Unconditional Love

LOVE. Most of us are searching for it in some aspect of our lives. And it seems to hold so much power over us. Without love, we feel empty, like there’s a gaping hole in our chest. With it, we feel happy, fulfilled, even giddy, like we’re dancing on air.

In our quest for love, what we’re really after is unconditional love. A love that doesn’t care if we’re having a bad hair day or our jeans are a little too tight. A love that stays with us through all the ups and downs. This is the love God meant for us to have all along, not just with each other but with Him.

Not long ago, I was sitting in the Sunday morning service. Our Worship Pastor and his lovely daughter were singing a duet. You’ve probably heard the song before, it goes… Your love never fails, it never gives up, it never runs out on me. As I listened to them sing these beautiful words, God whispered in my ear, “You know My love is for you too.” Honestly, that broke my heart into tiny pieces.

I spend a lot of time thinking about how I can share the love of Jesus with the people in my life. Whether they’re family, close friends or someone I met five minutes ago, I want them to know how much Jesus loves them. It’s kind of an obsession of mine. 😊

But somewhere along the way, I forgot that God’s love is for me too. Well, of course, I knew God loved me, I just set it aside temporarily and forged ahead. But God didn’t forget or set me aside. Instead, He pursued me and reminded me of His great love. The love I was always destined to have.

God’s love is unconditional. It’s the love we’ve been looking for all our lives. His love meets us exactly where we are. It reaches down to scoop us up when we’re low. And when we’re soaring high, His love sails right along with us. Because that’s who God is, a loving, caring Father we can always depend on, in good times and in bad.

Maybe you’re looking for this kind of love in your life. Today, God wants to give you the love you were always meant to have and whisper in your ear, “My love is for you too! You are mine and I love you with unconditional love!”

So, in honor of the author of love, I’ve put together a list of Bible verses about God’s Unconditional Love. I hope they will encourage your heart the same way they have mine.

God’s Love for us

The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying:
Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love;
Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.

                                                Jeremiah 31:3

I will betroth you to Me forever;
Yes, I will betroth you to Me
In righteousness and justice,
In lovingkindness and mercy;
I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness,

                                           Deuteronomy 7:9 (MSG)

Your love, Lord, reaches to the heavens,
your faithfulness to the skies.
Your righteousness is like the highest mountains,
your justice like the great deep.

You, Lord, preserve both people and animals.
How priceless is your unfailing love, O God!
People take refuge in the shadow of your wings.

                                           Psalm 36:5-7

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his #love endures forever. 1 Chronicles 16:34 #BibleVerses Click To Tweet

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
his love endures forever.

1 Chronicles 16:34

He brought me to the banqueting house,
And his banner over me was love.

                                          Song of Solomon 2:4

Christ’s Love for Us

As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.

                                                        John 15:9-10

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

                                          Galatians 2:20

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,

                                         Ephesians 5:25

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?…

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

                                                       Romans 8:35;38-39

As these verses attest to, God’s love is faithful, steadfast, loyal and most of all unconditional.

And God wants you to know He loves you with unconditional and unwavering love! Nothing will ever separate you from His love! Just like the song says… His love never fails, it never gives up, it never runs out on you. Are you ready to accept the priceless gift of God’s unconditional love?

This is my sincere prayer for you… Mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you. (Jude 2) In the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Blessings and love to you!
