What is love?
Love makes us who we are, it defines us as people. We all want to be loved and to give love back.
We love our family, our friends, and even our pets. And they love us in return.
No matter what, we always return to the ones who love and accept us for who we are. In that sense, love brings us together when everything else tries to tear us apart.
This kind of love is a wonderful thing to have! But the kind of love I’d like to share with you today is Biblical love.
At the very core of Christianity is love. It is the foundation of our faith in Jesus Christ. Love defines who we are in Him and brings us together as believers.
Because without love there wouldn’t be a pathway to salvation or even a reason to believe.
But praise Jesus! We are loved by God and fully accepted by Him! And most importantly, no matter what may happen, we can always return to God because of love.
What is Biblical love?
Biblical love starts with God, Himself. He is the very definition of love! And His characteristics are a picture of what true love is.
In these scriptures on love, we’ll discover how God is our soulmate, and how the different kinds of Biblical love impact our everyday life.
And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.
He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

Love the Lord your God
God has commanded us to love Him.
I know, no one us likes to be commanded to do anything.
But this command is a little different. Because when we follow it, God’s blessing is on us and we receive so much more than we could ever imagine!
